When it comes to choosing a path, there are so many options. So many possibilities. So many options.
Somehow – they all appear to be the perfect expressway to greatness. We tried following multiple paths, but it didn’t work out well. We start with incredible hope only to get overwhelmed, and ultimately, everything goes by the wayside.
So many projects, so how do we reduce them to one?
The Path Score
As creative entrepreneurs, selecting the right path from all the options can be difficult.
Going back a few years, I was looking over three possible product directions. Did I want to release one on productivity, income, or goals?
I designed a straightforward scoring system to use with CLEAR Purpose. I ranked each possibility from 1-10 through each C.L.E.A.R. measure. Embarrassingly simple.

Purposed Productivity – 33 /60
Simple 6 Figures – 41/60
Goal Gains: 38/60
Door
Obviously, Productivity gets shown the Door – it’s out. Simple 6 was the highest at 41, with Goals pretty close at 38.
The Door is liberating. Hopefully, you have at least one or more idea that gets kicked out immediately. It’s a relief to know that’s a clear “Not now.”
Core
The Simple 6 Figures idea was at my core. I lived it day in and day out with a membership site that brought in $29,850 a month. Then another with revenue of $79,487 a month.
While all three concepts were valid, only one truly aligned with the maximum contribution I could make to the market I was most involved in at the time. Simple 6 went on to make thousands of sales, helping internet solopreneurs create simple subscriptions that required less than an hour a week to maintain.
