“I quit.”
I should have kept count of the number of times I’ve said those words because they just feel so
GOOD!
A declaration of reaching the limit.
An awareness that its
- time to give up
- time to give in
- time to move on
I’ve come home several times and told Marla, “I quit today”
She didn’t seem quite as excited 🙂
I told alcohol last year, “I quit!”
Surprised the liquor store hasn’t called to check on me!
I started and quit 4 projects last year.
I’ve quit in secret and out loud.
Whispered in the shadows
Shouted from the summit
Quitting can feel good when it’s
- a determination
- a decision
- a choice
- a ruling
Maybe there’s a calling for you to join the quitters club.
What do you need to
- give up
- give in
- stop
What are you doing or pursuing that is
- harming you
- harming others
QUIT – the four letter word that doesn’t get the credit it deserves for setting us free from ourselves. 🙂
