01 : Higher BEing over High-Achieving

Achievement is momentary. BEing is constant.

The ancients realized success is temporary.

Even if you win a title. The title may remain, but the accomplishment is a memory.

It can be retold, but it cannot be achieved each day.

The high-achiever runs on a treadmill of various

 ↳  peaks and valleys.

   ↳  wins and losses.

Runs.

Strides.

Strains.

The higher BEing treads in the moment.

Present and available to take in the view of the peak.

Present and available to walk in the shadows of the valley.

Experiencing the ecstasy of the win.

Experiencing the euphoria of the loss.

Peak.

Valley.

Win.

Loss.

None are an advantage or disadvantage.

None are blessed or bitter.

Simply BEing.

“Your life requires your mindful presence in order to live it. Be here now.” ― Akiroq Brost

“Wherever you are, be there totally.” Eckhart Tolle

When achievement takes priority over BEing

   ↳  winning possesses self-worth

     ↳  losing possesses identity

When BEing takes priority over achievement

   ↳   winning possesses more meaning

     ↳  losing possesses more learning

The high achiever craves success because it delivers validation.

The higher BEing accepts success as a state of existence.

The high achiever fears failure because makes them feel insufficient.

The higher BEing invites failure because it is a tool of growth.

Achievement from the outside in says I am what I do.

Achievement from the inside out says I am therefore I do.

Are you a doing or being achiever?
